Pictured here is Lonaconing Junction on the C&P RR. This is also known as the rail connection to the Buffalo No.5 Mine just around the corner at Knapp's Meadow. Notice the old switch stad in the first photo remained when Don Biggs took the photo. The tall switch stand was replaced with a short stand when I took a similar photo.
