Two photos from a white water rafting site. The first photo shows the support wall that holds the WM out of the river. This concrete wall is just west around the bend from warnocks. I was up this way once before of a rafting trip when I was very young and I know that the ties and rail was in place all the wway up to Barnum. I remember seeing them in the weeds and trees as we crossed the tracks where we launched the rafts at Barnum. This section of the WM was abandoned when the Bloomington Dam was constructed. A new line around the dam up from the valley was built. Perhaps the rails was in due to a coal loader at Barnum at one time.
